Nexon EV Max electric vehicle is unveiled by Tata Motors today. On a single charge, this vehicle will have a range of up to 437 kilometres. It has a starting price of Rs 17.74 lakh ex-showroom. For those still sitting on the fence on the ICE versus EV debate, EV Max doesn’t quite settle it. However, users who love to hit the highways would still feel short-changed on the range. For most practical consumers, though, Nexon EV Max ticks all the boxes.
More Speed with a Larger Battery Pack
It is powering. A massive 40.5kWh lithium-ion battery pack powers the Nexon EV Max. It is a 33% increase in battery capacity over the Tata Nexon EV.
This car has a top speed of 140 km/ph and a maximum power of 143 PS. Aside from that, it has 250 Nm of instantaneous torque. This automobile can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds.
Safety features and GNCAP rating:
In regards to the safety features, the Tata Nexon EV Max gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP with i-VBAC. Along with hill hold and descent control, also disc brakes for all four wheels. However, GNCAP has not tested the model yet.
One can choose from three colours variant that includes Intense-Teal, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White.
The Nexon EV Max has a seating capacity of five occupants.
How much will this automobile cost?
Two models have been released: the XZ + and the XZ + Lux. It will be priced ex-showroom at Rs 17.74 lakh and will go up to Rs 19.24 lakh. It has 30 new features, including leatherette ventilated seats, a jewellery control knob, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVMs, smartwatch integration, and an air purifier.
